You might have heard the version by Tim McGraw, or maybe you heard Blake Lewis sing it on American Idol. Either way, it’s one of those simple tunes that just feels timeless upon first listen.
With it’s gorgeous melody and beautiful lyrical imagery, there’s no wonder why the song’s been covered so many times, and probably will be for many years to come.
Beautiful…. this is more like the Tim McGraw version i “think”, have you listened to the Tyler Hilton version, very nice as well… i love your voice! Please do some more DMB, you have the voice to truly give his love songs justice… see you on Myspace!

I had the chance to perform with Blake Lewis this past April when he came to a festival that my group, Simply Human, hosted in albany, NY. I hadn’t heard much of his stuff until then but this was one of the first songs I heard him do. Good stuff!
