On Thursday, May 6th, 2010, singer-songwriter David Baron will celebrate the release of his new full-length album Piano Covers at the House of Blues Foundation Room on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA.  The show begins at 9PM, and will also feature established and up-and-coming singer-songwriters in the LA area.

Piano Covers Album Now Available for Pre-Order

Beginning January 2009, piano pop/rock singer-songwriter David Baron uploaded a new video of music on YouTube weekly for fans to enjoy. The YouTube series, entitled “David Baron Piano Covers,” showcased David’s unique piano-rock versions of covers both classic and new.

Now David has compiled these intimate, one-take performances into a full-length album simply entitled, Piano Covers. Recorded live in David’s apartment in San Francisco, Piano Covers features David at his most musically naked, with just a mic and a piano, and a little acoustic guitar thrown in here and there.

In support of the April 27, 2010 release of his new album Piano Covers, David Baron will embark on a solo piano west coast tour.  The tour, entitled “David Baron and a Piano,” will include a co-headlining show with Counting Crows Lead Guitarist Dan Vickrey at Hotel Utah in San Francisco, and a Piano Covers Album Release Party at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.  See below for the full tour schedule.

Sold out Cafe du Nord show on CBS

The Bryan Bros Band featuring David Baron celebrated the release of their debut CD Let It Rip at a sold-out headlining show in San Francisco this week.  The concert took place at San Francisco music venue Cafe du Nord, and featured Counting Crows drummer Jim Bogios on drums.  The show sold out in pre-sale tickets alone.

CBS filmed the show and aired footage of it on the San Francisco Bay Area nightly news and on the program Gameday.

Now Announcing “David Baron Piano Covers” on YouTube

Beginning January 2010, piano pop/rock singer-songwriter David Baron will upload a new video of music on YouTube each Monday for fans to enjoy. The YouTube series, entitled “David Baron Piano Covers”, will showcase David’s unique piano-rock versions of covers both classic and new. These fun and informal videos will range from intimate performances of David in his apartment in San Francisco to clips of David playing live with his full band on stages across the U.S. The video series is a continuation of David’s Friday YouTube Series, which began in 2009.
