Thanks so much to everyone who came out for my “David Baron and a Piano” West Coast Tour! It was a blast to celebrate the release of my Piano Covers album with shows up and down the coast, and so much fun to play solo versions of my covers and originals. Thanks to all the new fans and old friends who joined me in San Francisco, Palo Alto, San Diego, LA, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo.
At the April 30th show at Hotel Utah in San Francisco, I was honored to play alongside Dan Vickrey, lead guitarist of the Counting Crows. Here’s a video of Dan and me playing “Open My Heart,” a Bryan Bros Band original that I wrote with Bob and Mike.
All the best,
David

For this week’s Piano Cover, we got a classic song from one of the best bands of all time. Achtung Baby has always been my favorite U2 album (with All You Can’t Leave Behind being a close second), and “One” is its emotional center, both beautiful and heartbreaking. I only hope I did this timeless song justice.
