Bryan Bros Band feat. David Baron – Let Rip @ Arthur Ashe Kids Day

Hey guys,

We had such an amazing time playing on the main stage at Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the US Open this year! Our set was in between the Jonas Brothers and David Archuleta, in front of a sold-out 24,000 crowd in Arthur Ashe Stadium. I will never forget it! So much fun, so many thrills, and such a joy to play with Bob and Mike on our biggest stage yet.

For this show, we were so pumped to play once again with Counting Crows drummer Jim Bogios, and, for the first time, Novak Djokovic rapping his verse on “Autograph” live with us! The Joker did great, such a nice guy and so much fun to play on stage with him. He was making us crack up during rehearsals. (And on a side note, way to go Joker for beating Federer on the way to the finals of the US Open! That was one of the best matches ever.)

CBS aired “Autograph” on Sunday the day after the show, but we also got to play “Let It Rip” at the show, which was so much fun to rock out to in the sun on that incredible stage. Be sure to check out the video of “Let It Rip” above, as well as pics from the show below. It was a dream come true to play and sing in that stadium, thanks to everyone who came out to the show, and to all who tuned in to the CBS broadcast!

And a huge congrats to Bob for winning Mixed Doubles, and to Bob and Mike for winning their 3rd US Open championship 2 weeks after the show! Only made those 2 weeks all the more special.

See ya on the road,
David

THE NUMBER ONE PROFESSIONAL DOUBLES TENNIS TEAM, THE BRYAN BROTHERS, AND “WISCONSIN’S POP ARTIST OF THE YEAR” (WAMI’S), BASCOM HILL, CONFIRM TWO L.A. AREA PERFORMANCES
Counting Crows drummer Jim Bogios joining Bryan Bros Band for both shows

“One of the Midwest’s hottest acts” (Shepherd Express), Bascom Hill, is riding a wave of advance acclaim for their self-titled new release (out Sept 7 on Arrival Records) and will debut music from the record at shows with the Bryan Bros Band on July 25 at The Air Conditioned Lounge in Venice and on July 26 at Molly Malone’s. The shows will benefit Save The Schools: http://savesantamonicamalibuschools.org/SOSevents.html. Counting Crows drummer Jim Bogios will be joining the Bryan Bros Band for both shows.

Bascom Hill, who writes “great melodies and memorable songs” (Mark Goodman/Sirius XM Radio), has been known and loved as one of the Midwest’s top songwriters and hottest acts, as demonstrated by their recent Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for Pop Artist of the Year earlier this year. The Bryan Brothers recently teamed up with Bascom Hill to make a surprise guest appearance in Bascom Hill’s new video “My World (sucks to be you.)” Tennis isn’t the twin’s only passion. Their debut release, “Let It Rip,” was released late last year and features Bob Bryan on bass and keyboards, Mike Bryan on drums, and David Baron as the lead vocalist as well as on piano and guitar.

WHO: Bascom Hill and The Bryan Bros Band featuring David Baron

About The Bryan Bros Band featuring David Baron:
The Bryan Bros Band’s latest record, “Let It Rip,” was originally released in late 2009 exclusively on Amazon.com where it reached #12 on the New Releases-Pop charts and #23 on the All Pop/Rock Albums chart. The twin brothers, who are the 2009 Australian Open Doubles Champions, are the owners of 7 Grand Slam Championships, have won 61 tour titles, and have been ranked #1 in the world the past five of six years. They have been playing musical instruments since their youth, and in 2008 they teamed up with lead vocalist David Baron after he performed at their Bryan Brothers Charity Dinner Gala. Since then, the three of them have become fast friends and have been co-writing songs together. In 2009, they have performed at four different ATP World Tour events including San Jose, Delray Beach, Houston, Wimbledon and most recently the U.S. Open.
